Development, feasibility and preliminary efficacy of an employment-related social skills intervention for young adults with high functioning autism
This article details the iterative development, feasibility, and preliminary efficacy of an 8-week social skills intervention, Assistive Social Skills and Employment Training (ASSET), for young adults with high functioning autism spectrum disorder (HFASD). In this mixed-methods design, pre- and post-intervention surveys, interviews, and functional measures were used to gather quantitative and qualitative information on the program feasibility, user acceptability, overall practicality, and preliminary program efficacy.
